The Power of Intentions and Affirmations

The Power of Intentions and Affirmations

In Align Your Home, we begin with setting intentions.

Majority of our clients have a good idea of what they want. But for the purpose of clarity, we pay attention to the different spaces in their homes through space mapping. This allows us to get cues from our spaces that help us unravel and understand what we really want.

Once the intention is clear and solid, it becomes a powerful driving force to begin creating changes at home. The intention also becomes a helpful filter as one decides what to keep and what to let go.

I’ve first used the Power of Intentions during a start of a meeting.

In my mind, I already set an intention of the outcome I want to achieve. More often than not, it works!

I also use it in my coaching. I also use it in my workshops. You can even use it as a timer: “I see us resolving the issue at hand in 20 minutes”.

The Power of Intention can be used in any situation. The most common one is when praying or meditating. Why not use it for clearing spaces as well, right? And it really does work!

Another powerful tool is the use of affirmations. When affirmations are repeated, again and again, it imprints on our subconscious mind and gets reflected in our lives. Similar to the power of intentions, you can use affirmations for your space as well!

For example, a painting of two lovebirds in a room can be a form of intention, “I attract the perfect relationship in the perfect way”. The same painting can also be represented by the affirmation of “I am love”.

It could also be as simple as painting the walls light blue in your bedroom. It can be a form of intention, “This room allows me to rest, relax and recuperate.” As an affirmation, the light blue walls could be a reminder of “I am at peace”.

What have you been experiencing in your own home? How would you want to experience yourself in your space moving forward?
